CHECK OUT THIS HARVEST MOON

Last night's super harvest moon was the first since 1991. This rare event happens when the first day of autumn coincides with a full moon and the next occurrence won't be until 2029, NASA says.
The large, orange orb may have looked bigger than usual but that was an optical trick called the moon illusion, caused by the moon hanging low in the sky.
A harvest moon occurs once a year around the autumnal equinox and reduces the period of darkness between sunset and moonrise. Two planets were also visible.
Find out more about this annual event, including how the harvest moon was named and what causes its bright colors.
